Getting to Know the Artist
Many works in film, television, and video games have gone down in history thanks to a disturbing villain or a creature drawn from our worst nightmares. But the masterminds behind them, the artists responsible for every fang, every claw, and every texture never stop, creating portals to dimensions, regions, and monstrosities that open mouths and boggle minds. One of those artists is Izzy Medrano, and today you'll have the chance to get to know him better.
Izzy was a concept artist for Sony Santa Monica, with several of his creations making it into the very God of War saga (Remember Daedalus? He's one of his.). He also lent his talent to Valve, Wizards of the Coast, Riot Games, Ubisoft, Infinity Ward, Respawn, Warner Bros., Hasbro, and many other high-profile companies. His YouTube channel doesn't exactly have a lot of activity, but he has some projects there that every artist should study more closely, and we recommend the same for his Instagram profile.
