Miray RAM Drive lets you temporarily use part of the system memory as a disk drive. All within a simple environment. This RAM disk creator lets you create a virtual hard disk on demand, using part of your RAM. This action is ideal for tasks that require processing.
Once you download the application from its official page, you'll see that it starts working from the desktop taskbar. Explaining how the tool works is quite complicated, but using it is really simple. Simply click the utility icon and select the amount of megabytes you'll assign to the virtual disk, then click the green button. And that's it!
At that moment, the platform will begin creating the virtual disk, taking the megabytes from your RAM.
Access to the disk works the same way as conventional drives, and to delete it you'll need to click the power button.
As you can see, everything works so simply that it's strange the disk responds perfectly. In our tests we tried to find an error, but the tool proved stable and secure. We should mention that we freed up RAM space using Advanced System Care and we managed to get Miray RAM Drive to give us more megabytes to create the virtual disk (we reached 700 MB).
The uses you can find for Miray RAM Drive are many, especially when you don't have space on your internal and external drives. Miray RAM Drive is a free application available for Windows operating systems. (Commercial versions exist.)
