Don't miss this week's selection of mobile games! We have shooting with Major Mayhem, adventures with Dragon Quest IV and a showdown between two creatures with AVP: Evolution. Only a fool would pass up the chance to play all this lovely and fun stuff!
AVP: Evolution
AVP: Evolution: The most lethal creatures in the universe face off for the first time on mobile devices. AVP: Evolution lets you play as an Alien, who must free its species from Predator slavery, or as the Predator, who must eliminate the Alien Queen. The gameplay is third-person with two campaigns to play, accompanied by a character progression system and the ability to upgrade weapons, defenses, and abilities. You can fight hand-to-hand as an Alien or take out enemies from afar with the Predator's weapons. Throughout the campaign, both species not only face each other but also have to fight the Marines. Developed by Angry Mob Games, AVP: Evolution is available on iOS and Android.
Blackwell Unbound
Blackwell Unbound: The second title in the series is a prequel to The Blackwell Legacy and follows the investigations of Rosa's aunt, Lauren Blackwell. The story of Blackwell Unbound takes place in 1973 when a series of accidents plague a construction site in Midtown. Manhattan citizens don't pay attention to these events, much less think they're connected. Lauren and her spiritual guide, Joey Mallone, are the only ones who believe something strange is happening, and only they can stop an enigmatic killer before he strikes again. Developed by Wadjet Eye Games, Blackwell Unbound is available on iOS and Android.
Dragon Quest IV: Chapters of the Chosen
Dragon Quest IV: Chapters of the Chosen: The Nintendo DS portable had one of the most glamorous titles with the remake Dragon Quest IV, one of the most revered installments of this saga, which had a direct adaptation to mobile devices. Although the game remained largely the same, this version polished many aspects, improving interface, sound, dialogue lines, and combat options, as well as adding new animations to characters and enemies. The most notable change is surely the maps of cities and dungeons, which were redesigned under an isometric 3D view, now with the ability to rotate the camera. Developed by ArtePiazza, Dragon Quest IV: Chapters of the Chosen is available on iOS and Android.
Leisure Suit Larry: Reloaded
Leisure Suit Larry: Reloaded: The remake of the first Leisure Suit Larry introduces us to Larry Laffer, an employee of a software company who swears to lose his virginity before turning forty, and to achieve his goal he heads to Lost Wanges, a perverted and decadent variant of Las Vegas. This new version fixes what didn't work in the original game, adding voice acting, animations, and adds a new conquest for Larry through solving a puzzle. There is also an enormous amount of additional text, since almost all objects lend themselves to different types of comedic interactions. Developed by Square Enix, Leisure Suit Larry: Reloaded is available on iOS and Android (free version).
Major Mayhem
Major Mayhem (Free game): One of the best rail shooters for mobile devices. Major Mayhem embarks you on a mission to rescue the typical girlfriend kidnapped by the Forces of Evil. So now you must go to her rescue playing with several characters across a series of levels that are traversed from left to right while shooting everything that moves. Firearms, grenades, and a wide variety of mass destruction tools are at your disposal, and believe me, you'll need every last one. The future of the world, and your love life, hangs by a thread. Developed by Rocket Jump, Major Mayhem is available on iOS and Android.
