Beyond Gravity

Beyond Gravity: Take control of a brave space explorer and hold on as long as you can by jumping from planet to planet. Beyond Gravity is a kind of endless runner that is procedurally generated, where you have to jump from planet to planet, using your trajectory to collect objects and completing objectives as you advance. Although the list of objectives is relatively small and easy to finish, when you reach the end it resets so you can play as many times as you want. Collect as many pills as you can and don't forget to buy upgrades for your character. Developed by Qwiboo Ltd, Beyond Gravity is available on iOS and Android.

Blood Bowl

Mobile Games of the Week (07/27/17)
Blood Bowl

Blood Bowl: If you like turn-based strategy, American football, and Warhammer, then we have the ideal combination for you. Based on the board game, Blood Bowl lets you choose one of the nine factions of Warhammer - humans, orcs, dwarves, Skaven, wood elves, chaos warriors, Lizardmen, Dark Elves, and the Undead - to face other teams in a battle to the death in the American football league. It has three game modes: single-player mode to play solo matches, campaign mode to win the Blood Bowl trophy, where you can develop your team, and multiplayer mode to challenge your friends. Developed by Cyanide, Blood Bowl is available on iOS and Android.

Phantasy Star II

Phantasy Star II (Free Game): There are still games from the Sega Forever line, and today we have an intergalactic adventure with Phantasy Star II. This second installment of the famous RPG series takes place a thousand years after the events of its predecessor and follows the journey of a government agent named Rolf and his friends, who are on a mission to find out why the protector of the planet Mota, Mother Brain, has started malfunctioning. The game features an epic campaign of over thirty hours, including turn-based battles against mutants, robots, and other fierce space creatures; you have eight playable characters at your disposal (each with their own unique traits and abilities) and a varied arsenal that includes everything from laser swords to pulse cannons. Developed by Sega, Phantasy Star II is available on iOS and Android.

Tales of the Adventure Company

Tales of the Adventure Company: Join a group of adventurers on their dangerous quest to obtain riches and glory. Tales of the Adventure Company is a mix of RPG, puzzle, and roguelike, where you only have 99 turns per game to track down and kill the fearsome Lich (and those turns are consumed quickly). Each level of the dungeon consists of a five-by-five grid of tiles, so you have to strategically plan which tiles to explore and how to manage your health; for example, using a campfire to heal team members consumes 10 turns. It's an interesting and refreshing twist on the genre that you'll surely enjoy. Developed by Slothwerks, Tales of the Adventure Company is available on iOS and Android.

The Phantom PI Mission Apparition

The Phantom PI Mission Apparition: A good ghost story and a good detective game can be a very fun combination to experience. Although there isn't really much to detect in The Phantom PI Mission Apparition: you are chasing a slippery specter in a haunted mansion to recover the belongings of Marshall Staxx, a zombie rock star. Throughout the game you have to solve a series of puzzles (quite easy, actually) to make your way to the final portal and catch Baublebelly. In addition to following the main mission, you can deviate to collect the twenty-five collectible cards across the scenarios to add a bit more challenge to the game. Developed by Rocket 5 Studios, The Phantom PI Mission Apparition is available exclusively on iOS.
