The Motorola Moto X50 Ultra suits buyers who prioritize an advanced display and a versatile camera setup; its main trade-off is a 4500 mAh battery capacity, among the lowest of phones from its time. This China configuration has 12 GB of RAM and 256 GB of storage. The phone is also sold in configurations from 12 GB / 256 GB to 16 GB / 1 TB, but it has no Google Services.
The 6.7″ display has a 144 Hz refresh rate, among the best of its time. Its 444 ppi density and 2500 nits peak brightness are better than those of most phones launched around the same time. The pOLED panel supports HDR10+ and uses Gorilla Glass Victus; the fingerprint sensor sits under the display.
For the camera, the 1/1.28″ sensor size and f/1.6 aperture are among the best of their time. Optical image stabilization and a 3x optical zoom telephoto camera add flexibility, with the zoom also among the best. Video recording includes 4K at 60 fps, while slow motion reaches 960 fps.
