MS-DOS Player is a DOS emulator for running old and small programs on current operating systems. With this player, you'll have a very simple tool to install old programs from the command line.

How to Use MS-DOS Player

Once you download the program from its official page, you'll have to install it using the system command. Its use is very simple: you just have to copy the contents of the 'binary' folder into the 'System32' directory (there are 8 binaries). Then run the file and follow the platform's steps.

Then you just have to type 'msdos' in the command prompt followed by the path where the old program (DOS) is located and the name of that old program. However, this emulator is not meant to run Win16 files, if you need it for that.

As you can see, the platform is a very good option to install old and small programs (it does not support large environments) on your current Windows in a very simple way. In our tests it worked very well, although the tool is not free from errors.
