Elon Musk said Grok Bot was in early deployment with a few trusted enterprise customers and forecast wider deployment within a few weeks during SpaceX’s quarterly Q&A on October 20, 2026. xAI had announced enterprise availability on September 3, so the October remarks described a pilot and a further planned expansion.
What xAI announced for enterprise customers
xAI describes Grok Bot as AI teammates that users can assign tasks to, with work carried through inside the tools they already use. Its enterprise announcement added access, network and audit controls, and said customers could invite their whole organization, including people without an existing seat.
The announcement also offered two weeks of free use to Grok and Cursor Enterprise customers. That was a launch offer, not an ongoing price. For a separate Grok Bot development, NeoTeo previously covered Musk’s plan for the product to choose external AI models.
Musk also said Grok Bot might ultimately use most of SpaceX’s computing capacity for what he called “super-intelligence.”
