The recommended games of the week are here to spread fun far and wide. Want to have a good time? Come play League Heroes, a little witch against monsters of darkness; Sword Fire with zombies and tower defense; and Bring The Sun, an excellent title that will put your keyboard skills to the test, among many other games.
Sword Fire
And we start playing with a frantic game mixing strategy and tower defense. Your mission in Sword Fire is to stop the horde of zombies and monsters from invading the village. Each scenario has a certain number of paths from which enemies will come; you must select enough warriors to stop the hordes on each path. In the center of the screen there is a bar that will turn green as you defeat monsters, but if they manage to invade the village it will turn red. Obviously, the one who fills the bar completely with their color wins. Each victory rewards you with stars that you can use to obtain new units and upgrade them into powerful warriors.
Inversia
Inversia: A platformer set in a distant world where the protagonist is constantly watched and, as always, must overcome a series of challenges. Inversia takes place in a maze of traps where the character you control has a small problem... It can't jump! What it can do, however, is change the direction of gravity. This is where the gameplay shines: you have to avoid the dangers of the stage. You must run across ceilings and floors, turning gravity on and off, if you want to survive and uncover the hidden truth behind this mysterious conspiracy.
League Heroes
A medieval fantasy game with lots of action where you must defend the temple from the attacks of the darkness. League Heroes puts you in command of a cute little witch capable of casting powerful spells and summoning various warriors who will follow you step by step, shooting all the evil ones advancing toward the temple. In each round, several enemy hordes will attack you, including powerful huge bosses who won't hesitate to eliminate you to achieve their objective. Cast spells to improve your warriors' attributes and collect all the money the enemies drop to buy upgrades and new hero classes. Very addictive!
Halfling Tycoon
Halfling Tycoon: Continuing with fantasy games, but now one in the idle style. Halfling Tycoon puts you in charge of Barry, a hobbit who must manage resources to build a gigantic hobbit village that honors the legendary Shire. Here you must assign workers to different tasks, such as farmers or lumberjacks, and even prepare army troops against attacks from giants or smelly orcs. There are also several missions to complete that reward you with plenty of gold and the chance to unlock new options. Like all idle games, this isn't one to keep your eyes glued to the screen, because the longer you let them produce, the more things you'll be able to do.
Bring The Sun
And we finish with a game that will test your keyboard skills. Bring The Sun seems like a spin-off of Dark Souls, not only because you play with the emblematic knight, but also because of its fiendish difficulty. It all begins when the knight is cornered by monstrous shadows, which can only be defeated by a sunbeam. But (there's always a but) the problem is that the beam can also burn you. Now comes the tricky part: you move the knight with Q (left) and W (right) while you move the sunbeam with O (left) and P (right). The idea is to keep the shadows from grabbing you, burning them as quickly as possible with the sunbeam, while avoiding burning yourself in the process. To do that, you must stand under the blocks that cover the stage, but be careful because if the beam stays too long on a block, it will destroy it. Coordination and patience are the keys to surviving this extremely difficult yet thoroughly entertaining game.
