The most acclaimed sports management saga returns with the expected improvements. PC Fútbol 18 marks the return of a classic, arriving for PC and mobile devices, where you take on the role of manager and must efficiently manage a football team to achieve victory.
The long-awaited return
Eleven years after the release of PC Fútbol 2007 (FX Fútbol doesn't count), IDC/Games and Korner Entertainment are taking action and preparing to launch a new installment of this fantastic sports management game. PC Fútbol 18 marks the return of a classic, arriving for PC and mobile devices, although unfortunately the 3D simulator has been removed, as this game is entirely focused on the management aspect of the sport. Through a new version of the classic interface, you can now manage transfers, training, and club finances in different game modes and online challenges. There will also be new valuation stats and player parameters, as well as a new advanced tactics system.
No real names, but a tribute to the original
There will be more than 20,000 players and 1,000 teams from nine international leagues to choose from (Germany, Argentina, Brazil, Spain, United States, France, England, Italy, and Mexico), but none of them will have licenses or real names. Except one, Michael Robinson, because the former player will again be the face on the cover of PC Fútbol 18. The game is based on the PC Fútbol 2001 version, the last release from Dinamic Multimedia (original creators of the franchise), as a tribute since for many fans it was the best title in the saga.
Updates and release plans
The developers will ensure that the game receives updates every week or every ten days to keep players engaged with new content. And to encourage players, IDC/Games launched a registration campaign on the official site where you can get a gift code for the game's launch. PC Fútbol 18 is being developed by IDC/Games and will be available on iOS, Android, Windows, and Mac. The game does not have a concrete release date, but it is expected to arrive on mobile devices in November 2017, while the PC version will come out early 2018.
