With the end of the year almost here, you might not feel like playing video games, but if you're willing to make the effort, we're standing by with this column that always knows how to feed your addiction. Many Christmas games and one with Robin Hood. Let's play!

Wind Revo

Wind Revo: As if it were a 1942 on steroids, Wind Revo puts you behind a little plane that must take down entire fleets of enemy aircraft. You control this plane with the mouse, managing its speed by moving the pointer closer or farther from the aircraft. Each scene has a number of enemies to defeat, which will grow in power and armor as waves progress. As seems almost obligatory, between levels you have the opportunity to upgrade your plane, so the difficulty curve stays steady, as these casual games often do, with no real reason to exist other than to fill the databases of the hundreds of thousands of flash game sites that populate the Internet. But hey! It's free and somewhat entertaining!

Super Santa Bomber

Super Santa Bomber: Santa is having stage fright and doesn't dare go down the chimneys of the children who have asked for gifts. Christmas is in danger! Luckily Santa has among his troops some very intelligent reindeer, who know about physics and explosions, and who will know where to place the bombs so that the shock force sends the chubby guy into the holes. This is a Christmas minigame, charming and fun. Another silly Christmas game? Try this other one, which explains where Santa Claus gets so many gifts at this time. Obviously, both games are designed for kids, so if you're too grown-up they might give you hives.

Uncle Grandpa - Sneaking Santa

Uncle Grandpa - Sneaking Santa: For those who don't know him yet, Uncle Grandpa is a character created by Peter Browngardt for Cartoon Network, who got his own series after a funny presentation short. In Sneaking Santa, Santa Claus has broken his foot and Uncle Grandpa, dressed in Christmas attire, must take charge of delivering gifts to children. You'll do this by pressing, to the rhythm of the music, each arrow on your keyboard. Yes, like a music game but with a strange dancing character. If you miss too many, you'll make a lot of noise and wake up the house's residents. If you manage to pass the level without making noise, at the end you'll face a quick bonus to add more points. Fun and Christmassy.

Santa Rockstar 5

Santa Rockstar 5: It's true that it's an older game, but it's the one that gets into the Christmas spirit (which isn't necessarily a time of joy for everyone). But with Santa Rockstar 5 even those who get most depressed during these holidays will have a blast, because it's a Guitar Hero clone with the characteristic songs of this season. Yes, keyboard in hand like a guitar, hitting chords with numbers 1, 2, 3, 4, and 5 (depending on difficulty) and "strumming" the guitar strings with ENTER. You'll feel like you're holding a super electric guitar; everyone else will think you're a bit silly, but that shouldn't matter because you should be having tons of fun. The classic Christmas songs included in the game, all in heavy metal versions, are the traditional ones in the public domain, such as: The Twelve Days of Christmas, Deck the Halls, We Wish You a Merry Christmas, We Three Kings, etc. As I said, a Guitar Hero with metal Christmas songs.

Bobby Da Arrow

Bobby Da Arrow: Let's end with something non-Christmas or we'll lose our minds from so much Santa-mania. In Bobby Da Arrow you play a super fast and precise archer, who must rid the kingdom of goblins and other dangerous critters. Luckily this game isn't a clone of the many that circulate online, just aiming and nothing else. No, Bobby is truly an expert with the bow and can take down several enemies in the blink of an eye. From the first shot, enemies will advance toward Bobby one step every couple of seconds. You have a limited number of arrows to eliminate all enemies on screen. If enemies reach Bobby, they'll start attacking and draining his health. Some enemies attack without approaching, like archers and goblin mages, so they are priority targets. A very, very fun game that makes us feel the battle in our blood.
