The voices and changes OpenAI describes

OpenAI’s release notes list new voice options for French, German, Hindi, Japanese, Korean, and Mexican Spanish, and name Bubbie as a new English voice. The six entries are language categories, not a count of individual voices.

OpenAI also says GPT-Live-1.1 brings more natural accents and a wider range of short phrases while Live searches.

Choose an available ChatGPT voice

In ChatGPT, go to Settings > Voice, then select Voice. The choices shown can vary by region and account, according to OpenAI’s release notes.

The Quip version

OpenAI describes GPT-Live-1.1 Quip as a mini version of the model.
