The only thing pending during that launch was its availability in Spanish territory, and its makers never shared a specific date. Pluto TV: Available in Spain, and in the Microsoft store
The news about Pluto TV are divided in two: On one hand, it debuted in the Microsoft Store a couple of weeks ago, and on the other, today we can verify its availability for Spanish territory. Of course, nothing prevented users from accessing streams using its web version, but it's still interesting the possibility of logging into Pluto TV with a dedicated app.
Another technical detail to highlight is that the store confirms the relationship between Pluto TV and Microsoft Edge. In fact, its official entry clearly explains that “This application requires the most recent version of Microsoft Edge,” although in practice you can be one or two builds behind, and Pluto TV will work anyway. If you don't like Edge (for whatever reason) you might want to follow the path of Pluto TV in its web edition, but we have no complaints for the web app on this side.
In summary, Pluto TV has a full green board: Web edition, apps for iOS and Android, support for Smart TVs, Amazon Fire TV, Chromecast, and now the Microsoft ecosystem joins, with Windows 10, Windows 11, and Xbox consoles.
