Record Screen and Take Notes While Recording

With Sideo while you record your desktop screen, you can take notes and screenshots during the recording. This helps you incorporate important comments or texts related to the capture. The notes are saved in a CSV file along with the date, time, and note type. With the service you can record the full screen, a specific region, a work area, or an active window. Screen recording settings

From this menu you can configure a shortcut key to open the note taking or comments popup during screen recording. You can also set a character limit for annotations, the timeout when taking a screenshot, and stopping the recording after a certain number of minutes, among other functions.

Recording mode

From the “Recording Mode” menu you can configure taking comments during recording during a screenshot or having comments present in the background of the recording.

Set saving formats

You can configure from “Set Saving Formats” the output of screenshots (PNG, GIF, BMP, JPG, or TIF) and the recording format (MP4, GIF, MOV, or GIF).

Privacy settings

From this menu you can configure the type of screen recording:

• Full screen
• Only work area
• Only active window
• Selected region

Watermark settings

If you need to add a watermark to your recording you can set it from this option. You can insert an image in BMP, JPG, GIF, TIF, or JPG format and determine its opacity level and position in the frame. This function allows you to see a preview (from the top controls) to see how the watermark looks in the frame.
