The first thing RecordScreen.io asks is whether you want to record only the screen, or the screen along with the signal from your webcam. The second option is logically more complete, but not mandatory.

Another positive aspect is that it allows us to set the location of the feed of the webcam on the screen. Do you prefer the top right corner? No problem, drag the icon to that position and confirm.

When recording the screen, the browser will ask you to indicate the elements to share. The options are three: the entire screen, the window of a specific application, or a browser tab.

During our tests we have noticed that recording the full screen delivers superior video quality. Limiting recording to a tab places too much pressure on the compression process, to such an extent that we cannot even read the text.

The final result is stored in the WebM container format, and the videos are so small that there will be no problems sharing them via email or instant messaging (WhatsApp Web, Facebook Messenger, etc.).
