SHAREit is a handy application that lets you transfer heavy files between your desktop computer and your mobile device. The tool uses your Wi-Fi network for file transfer, so it doesn't consume your phone's data plan. When you start a transfer, SHAREit begins to search for the device connected to the same Wi-Fi network.
With SHAREit, you can share HD videos and photos without connecting any cables, upload files to the cloud, or use a USB device. You can transfer heavy files between your computer and your device (Android or iOS), between phones (Android, Windows Phone, and iOS), or between computers.
How to transfer files
The computer becomes the sending platform, while the mobile device acts as the receiver. First, configure the profile with the receiver's name. Then simply click the "Send" button, drag and drop the file you want to share (in this example, a 5.6MB video), and select "Next".
The tool will now start searching for the receiving device on the same Wi-Fi network. Once found, you'll need to accept the incoming files on the receiver to begin the transfer. SHAREit then transfers the files quickly and without using any mobile data.
