If you are a Snapchat user and love recording videos constantly, this news is for you: Snap Inc. has just introduced its first hardware product, Spectacles, the glasses that record video for Snapchat.
Snap Inc., formerly known as Snapchat, surprised the world at a private event in Venice, California, by unveiling its first hardware product: Spectacles, the video-recording glasses for Snapchat. These sunglasses feature two cameras built into the upper outer corners of the frame, along with a button that, when pressed, lets you record videos up to ten seconds long. If you want more recording time, you can tap the button again to add another ten seconds, allowing you to record up to thirty seconds in total.
A circular ring of small LEDs lights up when you start recording, so you automatically know what you're capturing. You can play the final video horizontally or vertically, and even crop it to your liking. The videos are transferred wirelessly to your phone and then uploaded to your Snapchat account. The battery of Spectacles lasts a whole day. To recharge it, you simply store the glasses inside a case, which also protects and transports them when not in use, and connect it to a charger.

There's no concrete release date yet, but an official presentation for the press is expected soon in New York.
