The seventh generation of Pokémon games is ready for release. But before that, a new trailer shows the appearance of new creatures, the return of famous trainers, and the final evolutions in Pokémon Sun and Pokémon Moon.
Final Evolutions Revealed
A week ago we showed you a trailer of Pokémon Sun and Moon where you can see the new species of Pokémon, as well as the Alolan forms of certain creatures. This time, a new trailer has just come out with the final evolutions in Pokémon Sun and Pokémon Moon: Decidueye (grass/ghost), Incineroar (fire/dark), and Primarina (water/fairy) are the final forms of the starter Pokémon of this game. The video also presents the Guardians of the Alola Region: Tapu Lele (psychic/fairy) is the Guardian of Akala Island, Tapu Bulu (grass/fairy) is the Guardian of Ula'Ula Island, and Tapu Fini (water/fairy) is the Guardian of Poni Island.
Guardians and New Pokémon
The Guardian of Melemele Island is Tapu Koko, whom we see performing a Z-Move, the new special moves that can be used once per battle. The video continues with the presentation of new Pokémon, among which are Cosmog (psychic) and the Alolan form of Persian, which changes type and acquires new abilities. Finally we arrive at the beginning of the Alola Pokémon League, as well as the presence of famous trainers from previous Pokémon games whom we can challenge or ally with in team battles.
Returning Trainers and Release
Among the famous trainers is the return of Cynthia, who appeared in games such as Pokémon Diamond/Pearl/Platinum, Wally from Pokémon Ruby and Sapphire/Emerald, and the stellar appearance of two legends from the first generations of Pokémon games: Red and Blue. Note that this game includes mechanics seen in Pokémon X & Y such as Mega Evolutions, and the ability to transfer Pokémon from previous games via the Pokémon Bank system. Pokémon Sun and Pokémon Moon is being developed by Game Freak and will be available exclusively on Nintendo 3DS starting November 18, 2016.
