Incredible settings, fantastic creatures, inexplicable hybrids, brutal war zones, beautiful women, and the occasional relaxing piece define the art of Russian illustrator George Redreev. To that we must add a deep attention to detail, an excellent use of color, and a very particular style in the faces of his characters. Today we share a humble selection of 30 images, and it is definitely worth a look.
Born in Chelyabinsk (yes, the city of the bolide), Redreev also declares himself a director and writer, a true 'world creator.' His main source of inspiration was none other than The Lion King, and although he never worked for Disney, his hobby turned into a profession. Besides publishing his works online, he wishes to expand his presence in the animation space. For that purpose, he created a small studio called Wise Loris, and in the future he hopes to direct a short film.
