Google Street View cars were not well received everywhere, even facing political resistance over privacy issues... but in places where they did manage to enter, they have recorded scenes ranging from the funny (as happened with a certain dog in Japan) to the incredible, not to mention cases like the fake murder, or the nine-year-old girl who played dead.

Without a doubt, the most striking thing about these images is the lack of context. Apparently, the cars, drones, and trekkers of Google Street View stop for nothing, and those who come across these images in the service simply have to accept the void of information. What happened? Was it staged or pure coincidence? Why is Iron Man sleeping in a square, and what's the story of the naked man coming out of the trunk? We will never know...
