One of the most anticipated games is almost here. To help pass the time, there's nothing better than a video of Tom Clancy's The Division with 30 minutes of gameplay, full of action and chaos in the streets of New York.
The Story
New York City is in trouble. A devastating epidemic spread by germs on banknotes is spreading through the city, infecting people. The US government collapses in five days; basic services fail one by one. Without food and water, the streets are in chaos and new factions rise to power to take advantage of the situation. In the midst of chaos, a unit of classified agents known as The Division is activated and tasked with a mission: reclaim New York. Soon the agents will find themselves caught in a global conspiracy and will be forced to fight both the threat of the virus and those responsible for unleashing it.

Tom Clancy's The Division takes place in the middle of the New York crisis, with an open world with destructive environments for players to explore freely. The main mission is to restore order by investigating the source of the virus. To do this, you have to team up with other agents of The Division as you progress through the game. At the beginning you have a character editor, where you can customize the agent you will control. The character can carry three weapons (two primary and one secondary) and explosives, such as bombs and mines to fight enemies.
The action is seen from a third-person perspective, where you can take cover behind objects during shootouts. As you progress through missions, you'll earn experience points that you can use to customize your agent, level up weapons, and learn new skills, among other things.
Beta and Release
For now, the beta of Tom Clancy's The Division will begin on Thursday, January 28 on Xbox One, and a day later on Windows and PlayStation 4, and can be played throughout that weekend, until Sunday, January 31. If you pre-ordered the game, you can access the beta; otherwise, you'll have to register on the official site in hopes of being selected. Tom Clancy's The Division is being developed by Ubisoft Massive along with Ubisoft Annecy, Ubisoft Reflections, and Red Storm Entertainment, and will be available on Windows, PlayStation 4, and Xbox One on March 8, 2016.
