We're already getting close to a new year and who the hell knows what it will bring. Because everyone is saying "oh, what a horrible year 2020", but honestly I don't trust 2021 either, let alone the ones after it. One thing we can be sure of for next year is that the Visual Dump will keep coming out, health and NeoTeo permitting. In 2012, a group of Russian scientists were investigating ancient burrows in Siberia when they found a frozen seed that according to their calculations had been there for more than 32,000 years. The seed was buried 38 meters deep and located in the permafrost. The discovery belonged to a Silene stenophylla, a plant with white flowers native to northeastern Siberia and the northern mountains of Japan. These remains were regenerated by Russian researchers from exceptionally well-preserved stem tissues of that fruit, using in vitro culture and clonal micropropagation. To this day, no one knows how the seed could survive that long, so the main goal of the study is to explore its DNA through a mapping of plant genes that can adapt to very dry, hot, or cold conditions. Findings in this area could be really useful for climate change research.

It tells the story of a Texas ranger and a drug dealer who were best friends in their childhood. One of Hill's most unknown movies, but it's just as good as the previous ones, with a Nick Nolte who rocks it. Great movie.
