Netflix has just released the first trailer for White Rabbit Project, the spiritual successor to Mythbusters. Kari Byron, Tory Belleci and Grant Imahara are once again back to investigate all kinds of scientific oddities, technology and urban legends.
After 13 years on the air, 15 seasons and a total of 282 episodes, the end of MythBusters (known in Spanish as Cazadores de Mitos) left almost the entire web in a temporary state of depression at the beginning of the year. Fortunately for these cases, we have an interesting portal called MythBusters Results, whose goal is to compile each of the results observed in the series during its thirteen years. But soon we will be able to enjoy a new investigation series with White Rabbit Project, the spiritual successor to Mythbusters.
A Trailer Full of Science and Chaos
Starring three members of the original series, Kari Byron, Tory Belleci and Grant Imahara are back to investigate prison escapes, new technologies, heists and other topics from popular culture, science and history. Like MythBusters, White Rabbit Project is a science-based investigation series. In each episode, Byron, Belleci and Imahara dive into experiments, constructions and tests while discovering the truth behind these and other topics well searched on Google. The first trailer for White Rabbit Project shows some familiar themes from Mythbusters, including explosions, robotics and the strangest weapons that will be put to the test in the name of science.
As you can see in the trailer, there is a little bit of everything in White Rabbit Project: from a robot tournament to an attempt to eat a meal with electrodes that intermittently excite the muscles of the hosts, among several antics that any science lover will know how to appreciate. Starring Kari Byron, Tory Belleci and Grant Imahara and produced by John Luscombe, Ryan Senter and Martyn Ives, who are from Beyond Productions (the production company behind Mythbusters), this first season of White Rabbit Project will be available to watch in full on Netflix from December 9, 2016.
