Anthropic’s reported cloud agreements total about $450 billion over seven to 10 years, according to an October 21 report by El Economista. Three named provider figures add up to $252 billion. The agreements are future commitments; Anthropic’s reported computing and infrastructure spending in the first half of 2026 was nearly $9 billion.
What Anthropic’s reported figures cover
El Economista reported that most of the roughly $450 billion in cloud agreements were described as noncancelable. Separately, The Wall Street Journal reported on October 20 that a draft prospectus indicated Anthropic could spend $750 billion on computing capacity in the coming years, including agreements still under negotiation. The $450 billion figure concerns cloud agreements; the $750 billion figure concerns computing capacity.
Fortune reported that Anthropic spent nearly $9 billion on computing and infrastructure in the first half of 2026, compared with $2.3 billion in the same period of 2025. That historical spending figure sits apart from the reported future commitments. The prospectus coverage is part of the company’s potential IPO story, which NeoTeo also covered in an earlier report on Anthropic’s possible IPO valuation.
The named provider figures add up to $252 billion
El Economista listed $111 billion for Google Cloud, $110 billion for Amazon Web Services and $31 billion for Microsoft. Together, those figures total $252 billion. That is about $198 billion below the reported $450 billion aggregate.
An earlier Google Cloud figure
A May 2026 SemiWiki account citing The Information described an approximately $200 billion commitment to Google Cloud services over five years. The October provider breakdown listed $111 billion for Google Cloud.
