On October 19, TidBITS reported that Apple HomeView availability had shifted to early December. Apple’s product page still listed November 13 on October 20, matching the date Apple had announced for U.S. availability.

Apple’s original U.S. schedule

Apple announced HomeView on October 13, 2026, with U.S. availability beginning November 13. The announced U.S. price was $299 for both the tabletop and wall-mounted models.

HomeView has a 7-inch Liquid Retina display and an A18 chip. For background on the device, see NeoTeo’s earlier coverage of HomeView’s launch and Siri AI.

Earlier development delays

Mark Gurman, in an account quoted by Daring Fireball, attributed earlier HomeView postponements to unfinished assistant software while the hardware was ready. His account concerned development delays before Apple announced HomeView on October 13; TidBITS reported the early-December timing on October 19.
