Apple’s “Pro and tell” experience is scheduled for October 28, 2026, in Los Angeles, according to reports. The in-person event is reported to start at 10:00 a.m. PT (1:00 p.m. ET). MacBook Pro, iMac and iPad mini updates have been linked to the event, but the lineup remains unconfirmed by Apple.
Greg Joswiak’s post on October 19 teased the experience with the line, “Can’t wait to pro and tell next week.” The event date, location and rumored products come from separate reporting; his post did not specify them.
Products linked to the event remain rumors
Bloomberg reporter Mark Gurman’s reporting has associated several possible updates with the event. Higher-tier 14- and 16-inch MacBook Pro models are rumored to have touchscreens, M5 Pro or M5 Max chips, a lighter design and Dynamic Island in place of the notch. A separate base 14-inch MacBook Pro is rumored to retain the current design and use an M6 chip.
A refreshed 24-inch iMac with M6 is also rumored. Wi-Fi 7 and Bluetooth 6 have been mentioned as possibilities. The possible iPad mini update is reported with an OLED display, a repositioned FaceTime camera and redesigned speakers; reports differ on whether it would use A19 Pro or A20 Pro. Apple has not confirmed these products or specifications for the event.
Possible retail date
November 6, 2026, has been reported as a possible retail date for the rumored hardware, not as confirmed availability. That date is nine calendar days after the October 28 event.
