Once you download the program from its official page, you will see an interface very similar to Chrome. It highlights four built-in functions (Extensions): Avira Browser Safety, HTTPS Everywhere, Autopilot, and Privacy Badger. Together, these four functions help users browse safely and privately.
How each extension protects you
The browser will block malicious sites (thanks to trackers), ad blocking, and connection blocking, among other functions.
Avira Browser Safety tells you whether a web page is safe or malicious and will indicate it with a green or red icon.
With HTTPS Everywhere you can encrypt your connection to the web pages you visit; the platform forces sites that do not offer encryption to do so. This option is ideal for when you connect to public networks.
Another great option is Autopilot; this extension lets you choose between two types of browsing: Comfort and Secure Mode. The first mode allows you to visit pages with a secure wireless connection, and the second mode lets you be almost anonymous on the Internet.
