Cecotec and Casas inHAUS announced a strategic investment relationship on July 14, 2026, tied to a planned industrialized-housing factory in Spain’s Valencian Community. The project targets up to 6,000 homes a year and 500,000 m² of annual construction capacity.
The plan for a factory in Valencia
The companies’ proposal includes an estimated €100 million investment and 4,000 direct and indirect jobs. These are project estimates and targets. On July 15, Casas inHAUS said the partners were evaluating possible industrial sites in the Valencian Community.
Cecotec’s housing activity also predates the factory plan. Its architectural and property-development division, CecoHomes, began operating in late 2022.
What the proposed factory would produce
The planned annual capacity is up to 6,000 homes, alongside 500,000 m² of industrialized construction. The project description covers detached homes, residential developments, multifamily buildings and high-end hotels.
Casas inHAUS describes its system as industrialization grade 6. It says about 95% of each building—including its structure, bathrooms, kitchens, facade and finishes—would be completed in a factory before installation on the plot. The companies estimate a construction process of about three months.
How modular construction works in a factory
Factory production moves some building work indoors. In a separate modular-home facility in Pennsylvania, floor and wall sections are positioned with jigs, overhead cranes move floor systems, and crews install utilities and interior finishes before the sections are transported to a home site.
Who the project is designed to serve
Casas inHAUS identifies developers, public administrations, investors and other construction-sector professionals as intended customers. The project’s proposed factory is in Spain, and its production targets describe a future industrial operation rather than homes already being produced.
On July 15, 2026, Casas inHAUS described an opening target within three years of the announcement.
