A million volts. Where have we heard that before...? Right! Our favorite group of mad scientists on YouTube, Kreosan. The construction of the generator dates back to December 2016, and at the end of January one of them served as a guinea pig to feel firsthand the effects of such voltage. Now it's time for a duel between a modern smartphone and the classic Nokia 3310. Which of the two will survive...?
The rules for basic care of a mobile phone are quite simple: avoid liquids, keep it out of direct sunlight, don't do silly things with its battery (if it can be removed from the casing), and keep it away from other operating appliances, especially those considered 'high power', like a microwave oven. But if we're talking about the unforgettable Nokia 3310, and it's accompanied by the phrase 'a million volts', I think the idea of correct use is discarded immediately. That brings us once again to the Kreosan channel, formed by this incredible group of crazy Ukrainian war veterans who have done very dangerous things, including charging phones using train tracks and high-voltage towers.
Yes, the experiment consists of placing the Nokia 3310 on the generator and passing a million volts through it. The effects are even more impressive when they turn off the light, and the phone began to register 'key presses'. At the same time they tried to make a call to the Nokia's number, and for a couple of seconds, the connection was successful. When raising the voltage, all the poor 3310 could do was turn itself off completely, but after a few seconds, they managed to turn it on without problems. In the next phase of the experiment they installed a smartphone next to the Nokia 3310, which also showed some ghost touches on its screen, and then they reversed positions, with the smartphone resting on the generator.
As before, the Nokia 3310 simply shut down, but the smartphone ended up with its touch sensor destroyed. At first glance, the smartphone seems easy to disassemble, however, I think separating the damaged touch section will require the intervention of a heat gun, or alternatively, a hair dryer. In summary, another victory for the indestructible Nokia 3310, in a fight it definitely didn't ask for. I wonder what they'll do to it next...
