Reinterpreting well-known characters is one of the best sources of inspiration for thousands of artists around the world. In the past we have seen fabulous things, starting with Disney princesses (in noir style, as influencers, and painted in oil), and we also explored The Simpsons, in human and horrifying versions. However, British artist Will Blood prefers to go one step further and focus on developing skeletons, creating "X-ray editions" that we cannot stop looking at.
Have you ever imagined SpongeBob's skeleton? What about the bone structure of Totoro, Snoopy, or the Pink Panther? At first it might sound a bit disturbing, but with enough talent it becomes art. Will Blood is the most conclusive proof: His striking skeletal series, concentrated under the project "The Book Of Bare Bones", has gone around the world in record time, from Hong Kong to London, through multiple murals and other media. If you want to know more, don't hesitate to visit the official page, follow Will on Instagram, or go to his Facebook profile.
