Daredevil: Season 2 Trailer

If you liked the first season of Daredevil, then get ready because the best is yet to come. Now the man without fear must face a new adversary and an old love from the past. All that and much more in the trailer for the second season of Daredevil.

The First Trailer for Season 2

During the past year, Daredevil premiered as a web series created by Drew Goddard (The Cabin in the Woods) for Netflix, based on the Marvel Comics character of the same name. The protagonist is Matt Murdock, a blind lawyer by day who fights crime at night as "Daredevil". With just thirteen episodes, the series was a success, praised for its action sequences and the dark tone of the character compared to other properties set in the Marvel Cinematic Universe (in your face, Disney!). Thanks to this, Daredevil was renewed for a second season, and here we show you the first trailer:

After the end of the first season, just when Matt thought he was putting the city in order, new forces arise in Hell's Kitchen. Now, the man without fear must face a new adversary, Frank Castle, a man seeking revenge who is reborn as the deadly Punisher, capable of taking justice into his own hands. Meanwhile, Matt must find a balance between his duty as a lawyer and his dangerous life as Daredevil. The decision will alter his life and help him understand what it means to be a hero. But besides having to face Punisher, Matt will have to deal with the return of an old love, Elektra Natchios.

Cast and Release Date

This first trailer focused on Punisher leaves us wanting more. Fortunately, next week the second trailer comes out focused on, we suppose, the sensual Elektra. Charlie Cox returns to play Matt Murdock / Daredevil, while Jon Bernthal (Shane in The Walking Dead) and Élodie Yung (G.I. Joe: Retaliation) make their debut this season in the roles of Frank Castle / Punisher and Elektra Natchios. Deborah Ann Woll, Elden Henson, and Rosario Dawson remain, with Stephen Rider joining the cast. Produced by Marvel Television, this second season of Daredevil will again consist of thirteen episodes and will be available completely on Netflix starting March 18, 2016.
