One of Disney's least expected sequels is about to arrive. Yes, I don't want to sound like a 'hater', but the third part of this great franchise gave a magnificent and emotional ending that didn't leave much room for more. However, after this preview, the picture has become clearer and the excitement returns. The first Toy Story 4 trailer has arrived, and at NeoTeo we tell you all the news.
The plot of Toy Story 4 begins with the character revealed in the first teaser we talked about earlier at NeoTeo: Forky, the toy/fork. This charming character is born thanks to Bonnie, the girl we met in Toy Story 3, who turned her fork into a toy. This defines Forky's personality, which has serious existential and identity conflicts, as well as several mobility problems, so he decides to escape into the outside world. That's when Woody springs into action, who, as in previous installments, sets out to rescue this conflicted plastic fork.
In his attempt to rescue Forky, Woody leaves Bonnie's house and on his way meets a character who had been absent in the previous installment (only had a cameo) and who had a romantic relationship with the saga's protagonist. That's the shepherdess Bo Beep, who returns reinvented and ready to help Woody in his rescue. The real conflict lies here: Bo Beep shows him a different world, where they belong to no one and can go anywhere they want.
We'll also have new characters like Ducky and Bunny, two plush toys that are carnival prizes and will meet our favorite characters and make their lives impossible. Also appearing for the first time: Gabby Gabby, Duke Caboom, Combat Carl and some ventriloquist dummies straight out of Goosebumps! by R.L. Stine.
For those going to see the original English version, the cast will feature big names: Tom Hanks (Woody), Tim Allen (Buzz), Keegan-Michael Key (Ducky), Jordan Peele (Bunny), Keanu Reeves (Duke Caboom), and Tony Hale (Forky).
The Disney and Pixar film will hit theaters on June 21st and, even though we didn't expect a new sequel, everything seems to indicate it's on the right track.
