DNS Swapper is a program to change your DNS servers with just one click all from its icon in the Windows system tray. To switch between DNS servers, you simply define the two servers and an Internet connection profile. There are several services for changing DNS servers from the Windows desktop, but few are as convenient and simple as this one.
How to Configure DNS Swapper
Once you have downloaded DNS Swapper to your computer, you'll need to configure it. From its interface, you select a network adapter to update the parameters and server addresses. Then you enter the DNS servers manually.
Now you just need to save the changes. To do so, you'll have to click on “File” and select “Save.” And that's it! Your work is done.
At this point, you can use its interface to switch between DNS servers. You do this from the red button located between the two DNS fields. Alternatively, you can simply click on the “DNS Swapper” icon in the Windows system tray.
Limitations and Alternatives
The only limitation we found in this version of the platform is that we can only switch between two DNS servers. If you work with more servers, you have two options: The first is to download another program like DNS Jumper. Or manipulate its “C#” code by downloading it from its GitHub repository.
DNS Swapper is a free DNS switcher that lets you switch between DNS servers with just one click. If you're a user who frequently changes between two hosting services, this tool will make your job easier.
