Dual Watch is a web page that lets you watch two videos simultaneously. The platform is ideal for students who want to see the teacher's class and, at the same time, view the assignment or practical work the instructor gave them. So thanks to Dual Watch you can do your homework while still listening to the teacher's instructions.
The environment is very easy to use. All you have to do is load the videos, and Dual Watch's player will let you watch both clips at the same time. Most importantly, you can adjust the playback speed, choose the audio source, and swap the screens for a better viewing experience.
How to Use Dual Watch
First, go to the Dual Watch website. You'll immediately see the option to load videos stored on your computer, and it supports drag and drop.
After loading the videos, you'll see them on two different screens. Loading the video files is really very fast. In our case, the upload was almost immediate. At this point you can play them simultaneously and do whatever task you want, completely at ease.
In the playback controls you'll find the settings. From there you can adjust the playback speed from 0.5x to 3.0x. Next to the settings, you'll see the icon to swap the position of the videos: the one on the left will move to the right and vice versa. By default, the platform plays the audio of the video on the left, but you can also change that from the environment's settings.
There are other ways to play two videos simultaneously locally, but Dual Watch offers a very good online service with some advanced features. We see it as ideal for the academic world, but surely you'll find another good use for it. What would you use Dual Watch for?
