Echosync is a program that lets you create differential backups and synchronize files and folders from a source to a destination location. This way, the environment only detects changes in each folder and performs a backup of the changes or new files. The platform allows you to back up files that have been modified, deleted, or are new.
Once you have downloaded the program from its official page, you will see that it has a simple interface from which you have to choose the type of synchronization: the backup name, the source and destination folders and the description.
Once the new profile is created, you can sync all profiles or sync a specific profile or all those you select. The utility will synchronize new files or files with new names, deleted files, new items, or modified ones. Then you just have to compare the folders and files to start the synchronization process based on the differential backup.
You can also create differential backups using system commands. To do this, you need to create a profile from the program interface. Then you have to open the Command Prompt window and drag and drop the Echosync .exe into it. Once that's done, type the profile name and press Enter to perform the differential backup.
