Four days. In the name of whatever you hold dearest, FOUR DAYS. Millions of people will not go to work due to 'illness'. Global productivity will be compromised. Years-long relationships will be put in jeopardy. All because of that sweet whisper that melts hearts and pierces brains: Wasteland. Bethesda decided to show no mercy, and at 96 hours from its general launch, they give us a new Fallout 4 trailer. We can't take it anymore.
The Final Trailer
In recent days we have witnessed multiple leaks related to Fallout 4. Shorts that disappeared within hours, criticism of its graphics, gaps in the story... the list goes on. Tension mixed with doubt and bathed in uncertainty inevitably leads to negativity, and Fallout 4 did not completely escape that. Will it be as good as we hope? Will there be serious bugs that affect the initial experience? Will the high hardware requirements be justified? Or is the hype blinding us and we'll find something disappointing? Judge for yourself:
What you just saw is the last official trailer... unless Bethesda has something up their sleeve to make us suffer a little more. One of the first aspects to highlight is the female character, and for obvious reasons (!) everyone seems to be talking about her model. However, the new trailer gives us more information about what will surely be its main campaign. Do you remember the Institute? Quick “rewind” to Fallout 3: Rivet City, the aircraft carrier turned shelter and trade center. One of its missions involved a Dr. Zimmer, who desperately searches for a fugitive android. The point is that Zimmer represents the Institute, and their ability to create androids identical to humans is extraordinary, especially considering the chaos on the surface. The trailer presents the Institute in an antagonistic position, but who knows? Morality in the Fallout universe has always been quite flexible.
System Requirements
Most of the technical details of Fallout 4 have already been revealed... and there's no doubt that it will be a demanding title. The physical disc only includes a part of the installation files, while the rest will be downloaded via Steam. 30 gigabytes of disk space, Windows 7 SP1 x64 minimum, 8 GB of RAM, quad-core processor (Intel Core i5-2300, AMD Phenom II X4 945 or similar), and a graphics card with 2 GB of RAM or more, in the line of a GTX 550 Ti or a Radeon HD 7870. These are the minimum specifications for Fallout 4. I imagine many users will try to challenge these parameters... I would.
