Liam Neeson and the action genre have been practically inseparable over the years, but the Irish actor hinted that he could retire next year, which would make Absolution one of his last films.
Originally called 'Thug', the story follows a gangster (Neeson) who receives a terrible medical diagnosis and decides to reconnect with his family before the end. The problem is that his old life won't let him go so easily, especially when his boss (none other than Ron Perlman) asks for a new job.
Directed by Hans Petter Moland, who previously worked with Neeson on 'Cold Pursuit'. (This year, in theaters.)
