The algorithm tends to bury everything that doesn't serve it, and if there's an example of that, it's The Dead Don’t Hurt. No multi-million budget, no cinematic universe, no episodic content, no shorts for TikTok. It debuted at the Toronto Film Festival last year, and its official trailer has just begun to circulate.
All we need to know is that it's a 129-minute western written, directed, and produced by the very Viggo Mortensen. It's cooking on a very low flame... and maybe that's exactly what we need. (May 31, but a limited release is expected.)
