Monosnap is a screenshot capture application that lets you edit and save your snapshots in JPG or PNG format, all within a simple-to-understand environment. It also gives you the option to share your captures on social networks or upload them to the cloud with your Monosnap account.
Once you download the application from its official site, you'll notice it works quietly in the system tray.
To use the tool, simply click with the secondary mouse button on its icon, or use keyboard shortcuts. After capturing a specific area or the entire desktop, an editor will open where you can customize your image.

Monosnap is truly a very good alternative to CamStudio, thanks to its screenshot editor and the ability to share snapshots on social networks. Monosnap is a free application available for Windows operating systems and as a Google Chrome browser extension (in our tests, the download did not work on Mac OS X and iOS devices).
