With PDF readers you can view the attached files in a document, but you won't be able to extract them. If you need to save those attachments separately, you'll have to use other tools. That's why we're going to introduce two online platforms for extracting PDF attachments.
These web pages are very practical because they don't require registration and generally extract all kinds of formats (image, Excel, text file, etc.).
Konwerter
We'll start with the web page Konwerter, a very good option for extracting PDF attachments. One of the features that makes the page unique is the ability to extract the fonts of the PDF document. When uploading a PDF, we found no limitations on the size of the uploaded document (in our tests we uploaded a 30 MB document). The website will deliver the extracted attachments in a ZIP file.
PDFConvertOnline
The second and last option is PDFConvertOnline, a multipurpose online environment. Besides extracting PDF attachments, it is a powerful file converter (JPG to PDF, Word to PDF, PDF to TIFF, ePub to PDF, etc.). From its interface, you can extract PDF attachments weighing no more than 128 MB. Like the first option, the extracted files will be given to you in a ZIP.
If you need to download the attachments of a PDF separately, with the two options we mentioned you will be able to do it without any problems.
