HubSpot Sidekick is a browser component that provides email read confirmations, schedule, and contact profile, among many other features. The environment truly has a lot of services, which makes the tool a perfect ally for sales reps.

For this reason, we recommend this platform for the Marketing area, and if you are an average user, we can tell you that it is too much for you.

Perfect for following up with clients

Setting Up the Extension

Once you download the extension in your Google Chrome browser, you will see that the utility asks you to add your email account (there are several providers).

Gmail, Outlook and others

After finishing the configuration process, you will have to send an email to your account from the platform. At this moment everything will be ready for you to enjoy the service. But before that, we want to give you a recommendation: when writing an email (in our Gmail tests) we recommend clicking the bottom-left icon (the one in gray).

When clicking the button, your Inbox will connect with the extension by opening another browser tab where you must accept all connections. In our tests we had to do this process twice. When the icon turns orange, everything will be synced.

Sending email

When the recipient performs an action with the email, the extension will alert you via a desktop and browser notification in Google Chrome.

What Information Can You Get?

Then, from the platform icon, you will have all the email information, such as reading time, contact profile, if it was opened, if they clicked on the hyperlink, if they viewed the sale, the “HUBSPOT”, and from which device they opened the email.

Pricing and Integrations

We remind you that the free version of the extension lets you track 200 emails per month. But one of the great advantages of the utility is the integration with a large number of CRMs and SalesForce accounts.

If you are in a sales department or are a freelancer running a marketing campaign, you will have a complete tool to know everything the client did with your proposal (email) and thus you will have a lot of information to close the sale by phone or in person.

HubSpot Sidekick is a free extension available for Google Chrome web browsers.
