Crossover Fan Films
The world of crossovers has given rise to truly impressive productions. Many focus exclusively on personal duels, such as the excellent Batman vs. Vader, that Machinima Prime published eight months ago, and it still gets people talking. I also remember the episode of Wolverine vs. the Predator, which has over 13 million views, and of course, the classic animated Hulk vs. Superman. Beyond the varying production levels, all these works cross into fan film territory to reach our screens. I imagine crossovers work better as fan films despite the limitations because fans tend to adhere more to established canon, unlike the constant reinterpretations that directors, producers, and screenwriters make at will. But a crossover doesn't have to be limited to characters. It can also apply to technology.
The Jedi Experience
Take the example of Jedi With a GoPro. Why would a Jedi use a personal camera? We have no idea, but one thing is certain: the Jedi's perspective doesn't look bad at all. The Stormtroopers in the video not only have terrible aim (as always), but the Jedi diligently slices and returns fire with his lightsaber. Logically, the imperial forces have a little extra help, and when the situation is about to get very difficult for the Jedi, well... let's say the cavalry shows up and seals the deal.

The video is a creation of Bill Parker, and on his YouTube channel he has published an interesting number of videos, among which we should highlight his Star Wars vs. Star Trek and his version of Stay Puft, the adorable and very dangerous marshmallow giant we saw in Ghostbusters.
