For a lighter setup and an OLED screen, the tested 14-inch IdeaPad Slim 3i Gen 11 14IWC11 is the better fit; the 15.3-inch 15IWC11 suits buyers who want a larger matte touchscreen, 120 Hz refresh and a numeric keypad. In a review published October 16, 2026, MadboxPC’s Mario Rübke reported longer battery-test runtime for the 14-inch unit, while the two laptops posted nearly identical overall PCMark 10 scores. MadboxPC’s comparison

Both tested configurations used an Intel Core 5 320 processor, 8 GB of DDR5-5600 memory, a 512 GB PCIe 4.0 SSD and a 60 Wh battery. Those shared components make the screen, size and measured portability the clearest differences between these particular review units.

Two screens, two ways to work

Measured weight1.301 kg1.601 kg

The 14-inch model is the more portable of these two tested units. Its glossy, non-touch OLED screen favors buyers who want that display technology; the 15.3-inch model gives you a larger matte surface, touch input and a higher refresh rate. The numeric keypad on the larger unit may also be handy if your work involves frequent number entry.

What MadboxPC measured

MadboxPC reported the following results for its two review units. PCMark 10 Modern Office is a battery benchmark; its runtime figures describe that test, not a guarantee of everyday battery life.

Test14IWC1115IWC11
PCMark 10 Modern Office battery test17 h 43 min16 h 05 min
PCMark 10 Extended overall score5,4585,446
Cinebench 2026 single-thread score442442

The 14-inch unit lasted 1 hour 38 minutes longer in the reported battery test. By contrast, the overall PCMark 10 scores were only 12 points apart, and the Cinebench single-thread scores matched. For everyday productivity, those results show little difference between the two units in these tests; the size and display choice are more useful decision points.

MadboxPC also reported peak CPU temperatures of about 99 °C on the 14-inch unit and 97 °C on the 15.3-inch unit, along with thermal-throttling events during its testing. The review identifies the integrated graphics and 8 GB of memory as constraints for demanding games, heavier multitasking and local AI workloads.

The 14IWC11 family includes other configurations

Lenovo’s 14IWC11 product specifications list Core 3 304, Core 5 315, Core 5 320 and Core 7 350 processor options for that model family, as well as 14-inch IPS or OLED displays and 50 Wh or 60 Wh batteries. Memory options include one DDR5 SO-DIMM slot supporting up to 32 GB; listed SSD capacities are 256 GB, 512 GB and 1 TB. Lenovo also lists Wi-Fi 6 with Bluetooth 5.3 or Wi-Fi 7 with Bluetooth 5.4. These are 14IWC11 family options, not a promise that every combination is sold in every market.

That range matters when you shop: the two MadboxPC units both had a Core 5 320, but a different processor, display, battery or memory configuration may change what a particular listing offers. Check the exact model and configuration rather than assuming every IdeaPad Slim 3i Gen 11 matches the review samples.

For US buyers, Lenovo lists SKU 83RR003BUS at $749.99. That listing specifies a Core 5 315, 8 GB of DDR5-5600 memory and a 512 GB SSD, so it is not the Core 5 320 configuration tested by MadboxPC. Lenovo’s US listing
