On Sept. 27, 2026, LG Electronics said it had been listed in NVIDIA Partner Network’s Power and Cooling category. NVIDIA’s directory lists the company in that category, which connects customers developing AI data centers and AI factories with relevant partners.
What the NVIDIA listing means
The Power and Cooling category identifies LG Electronics in NVIDIA’s partner directory. It is a directory listing; NVIDIA’s DSX Ready program is a separate qualification for specific products.
That distinction matters when assessing a cooling supplier: the directory identifies a partner by category, while DSX Ready applies to a particular offering and its relevant requirements.
DSX Ready qualifies specific offerings
NVIDIA announced DSX Ready on Sept. 21, 2026. At launch, the program covered battery energy storage systems (BESS) and coolant distribution units (CDUs), which circulate coolant to move heat away from data-center equipment. NVIDIA named LG Electronics among the initial CDU providers.
LG said on Sept. 22 that its 600-kW and 1-MW CDUs had completed infrastructure qualification. The company also said a larger CDU met additional DSX Ready requirements. NVIDIA says the qualification applies to specific offerings and categories, and does not replace engineering for an individual site.
LG’s data-center cooling portfolio
LG describes its Chip-to-Chiller portfolio as spanning chillers, computer room air handlers (CRAHs), CDUs and cold plates. In LG’s description, a CDU circulates coolant through cold plates to remove heat from CPUs and GPUs, then transfers that heat to the data center’s cooling infrastructure. The portfolio is intended to cover heat removal from the chips through heat rejection at the facility.
