In another episode of "We will keep modifying Windows 11 until morale improves", we have a new tool from builtbybel, whom we know better for ThisIsWin11 and Tweak UIX. Today we meet LoveWindowsAgain, which allows us to optimize Windows 11 by adopting a less aggressive profile and automating the removal of unnecessary items. At the same time, LoveWindowsAgain can remove built-in apps and install additional programs in a couple of clicks.
Many users worry about the aggressiveness of certain tweakers when it comes to modifying the operating system. That is why we always recommend creating a restore point, but with Microsoft being Microsoft, modifications must be increasingly broad and deep. Windows 11 was no exception, and today we need a new generation of tools to regain control of our computers, even if only a little.
We recently talked about WinSecret to modify the appearance of Windows 11, DoNotSpy11 to improve its privacy, and the combination of OpenShell and ExplorerPatcher if you want to change the taskbar and Start menu. What is next on the list? The new LoveWindowsAgain, developed by builtbybel, but unlike other similar programs, this one has a more conservative vision for optimizing Windows 11.
How to Optimize Windows 11 with LoveWindowsAgain
The program starts with a small greeting and a button that invites you to analyze the Windows 11 installation. Within seconds, LoveWindowsAgain will report all detected issues and details with three levels of attention: Low, Medium, and High. If you want to adjust the selection, simply click the three dots and choose advanced mode. With the available options we can uninstall OneDrive, remove PowerThrottling and TPM 2.0 verification, adjust visual effects for better performance, and disable telemetry.
The secondary tools of LoveWindowsAgain allow us to remove built-in apps, install external programs like 7-Zip or Malwarebytes, and send feedback to Microsoft (which of course nobody reads). The software is completely portable and does not require a traditional installation. If you feel you need something more complete to optimize Windows 11, the combination of ThisIsWin11 and Tweak UIX might work better for you, but LoveWindowsAgain is a good starting point if you prefer minimal changes.
