Every time we talk about "going out to look for" a photograph, we are basically referring to this: a camera, your curiosity, and the best of nature. The subjects don't have to be trees, mountains, or large animals. The best photograph of your life could be hidden in the grass, or walking on a leaf. Macro photography expert Alexander Mett demonstrates this with force. His macro photographs of insects are a festival of shapes and colors, small universes that observe, devour, try to escape, or prepare to attack. Terrifying and wonderful.

The Techniques of Alexander Mett
The images are truly impressive. Mett does everything possible to bring his lens close to insects and spiders, always guaranteeing their integrity. He also doesn't move his subjects in his sessions: all shots are outdoors and without causing harm, although he acknowledges occasional touch-ups in Photoshop to optimize the final result.
