A couple of months ago we were amazed by the insect macro photography of Yudy Sauw. Today it’s Javier Rupérez’s turn, a 57-year-old Spanish photographer who dedicates himself to capturing all kinds of insects with his lens in the municipality of Almáchar. The level of detail captured is chilling, to the point that these tiny creatures transform into monsters that could keep you awake for a long time.
Everything we know from a technical standpoint is that Javier uses a special lens, and his official section on the 500px portal reveals that one of his cameras is a Canon EOS 50D. His work was presented at the Town Hall of Vélez-Málaga during the entire month of April, and honestly I hope it repeats soon. Below we will share a humble selection of his photographs.
