If I say "Vespucci Beach", GTA players know exactly what it's about. If I mention Los Santos, San Fierro and Las Venturas, the same happens. Names, places and titles, accompanied by a special aesthetic, a style, an attitude. The first Grand Theft Auto dates back to October 1997, and with 23 years on its shoulders, it's a universe impossible to ignore. For that reason, we are not surprised to discover that a Ukrainian supermarket chain was inspired by GTA to open a new branch.
It's Silpo, which has more than 200 stores in Ukraine, and is one of the dominant names in the market in that country. The images you'll see below belong to the supermarket in Lviv (Lviv), and although the art on the walls talks about "Venice Beach" (a real beach in Venice, Los Angeles), let's say the "San Andreas feeling" is unmistakable. My Ukrainian is virtually non-existent, but I can add that the official announcement was made on Facebook at the end of October, and that the store works every day from 08 to 23.
