Everything you need to entertain yourself, wherever you are and wherever you go. Egglia: Legend of the Redcap is a generational RPG, Le Parker Sous Chef Extraordinaire is a platformer, and Train Conductor World is a train puzzle game. Let's play!
Egglia: Legend of the Redcap
Created by a team of former developers of Secret of Mana, Egglia: Legend of the Redcap is as strange and adorable as you might expect. It's a role-playing game where you rebuild a fairy field by exploring areas, collecting materials, defeating enemies in turn-based battles, and finding eggs to reveal the next section of the kingdom. However, it's a bit different from traditional RPGs, and it also integrates item crafting and timers (fortunately without microtransactions) for a much more interesting experience. Developed by DMM.com, Egglia: Legend of the Redcap is available on iOS and Android.
Le Parker Sous Chef Extraordinaire
Don't let its sweet and buoyant exterior fool you; the heart of a deeply challenging side-scrolling platformer lies within. As Chef Parker, you must recover your meringue recipe (the lightest dessert thanks to your culinary skills), defeat the evil king who stole it, and rescue the princess he kidnapped. With a fairly standard plot (except for the meringue part), this title boasts gameplay as strict as we've seen in the genre for mobile devices, and that's exactly where its charm lies. Developed by Play Pretend, Le Parker Sous Chef Extraordinaire is exclusively available on iOS.
Linelight
A representation of the best puzzle games for mobile you can find. Linelight keeps its concept so simple and minimalist: travel along a line, toggle switches, and avoid dangers to move to the next section. Although there's no tutorial, the gameplay is completely intuitive, and each level fits perfectly on the screen so you lose very little progress if you need to stop playing. Special mention goes to its design, both visual and auditory, which is so beautifully done that it's super relaxing while you play. Developed by My Dog Zorro, Linelight is available on iOS and Android.
Train Conductor World (Free)
Each level gives you several train tracks, generally extending from the left side of the screen to the right. At random, a marker on one or two tracks will start flashing to indicate an approaching train, and your job is to direct it correctly to the track it should follow to continue the journey. You can deduce where it's supposed to go by color, and eventually you'll have multiple trains of different colors on screen, all needing to go to different places. It sounds simple, but the trick is to avoid them crashing into each other. Developed by The Voxel Agents, Train Conductor World is available on iOS and Android.
Yankai's Peak
Just as Yankai's Triangle by Kenny Sun was a love letter to triangles, Yankai's Peak is one for pyramid enthusiasts. More structured than its predecessor, the goal is to push pyramids around a triangular grid and place them in their corresponding color, aided by some different mechanics, such as fixing a corner of a pyramid. The game can be almost painfully difficult, but it's wonderfully satisfying to overcome each level of this challenging puzzle. Developed by Kenny Sun, Yankai's Peak is available on iOS and Android.
