It's never too late to play some mobile games! Especially when they're this good. There's a shooter with PewPew, the most psychedelic adventure with Robot Unicorn Attack 2, and the best of all, Bardbarian. Grab your phone and play a game!
Bardbarian (Free)
Bardbarian blends the best of tower defense, role-playing, and real-time strategy. The story follows Brad, a barbarian who must defend his village from invading enemies. To do so, you'll use an improvised lute axe that allows Brad to summon units. These units fight the monsters and then collect the loot they drop. They also gain experience and level up, which is crucial when facing enormous bosses. With the gold you earn, you can purchase upgrades and unlock new units. Developed by TreeFortress Games, Bardbarian is available on iOS, Android, and BlackBerry (paid version).
Desert Golfing
As its name suggests, Desert Golfing invites you to play a round of golf in the middle of a vast desert. Desert Golfing has a simple visual style and equally simple gameplay. But here, simplicity becomes addictive in this 2D golf title where you have to get the ball into the hole. Using an aiming system similar to Angry Birds, you calculate the distance and power of your shot. The terrain can complicate some shots, but nothing that a little practice can't solve. Once you sink the ball, you move to the next hole. A simple and addictive title. Developed by Blinkbat Games, Desert Golfing is available on iOS and Android.
PewPew (Free)
This multidirectional retro-style shooter is similar to Geometry Wars 3: Dimensions. PewPew is basically megatons of enemies and many different game modes, all wrapped in smooth retro graphics. There are five game modes in total, each with different challenges to overcome: enemies that explode upon death; ambushes of numerous enemies when picking up crates; assaults against waves of enemies; colored enemies (where you must destroy those that match your ship's color); and asteroids (you can already imagine what awaits you in this mode). Developed by Jean-Francois Geyelin, PewPew is available on iOS, Android, and BlackBerry.
Robot Unicorn Attack 2 (Free)
The sequel to Robot Unicorn Attack expands on the original gameplay by adding new abilities like Rainbow Savior and Gallow's Gallop. But that's not all: Robot Unicorn Attack 2 also features enemies, missions, and the option to customize your unicorn's appearance (bodies, manes, horns, and much more). The gameplay retains the endless runner style but with new features, such as the ability to complete missions to unlock new special items and abilities. In addition to running and jumping, you can now fly by unlocking wings. The game includes microtransactions for acquiring special items. Developed by PikPok, Robot Unicorn Attack 2 is available on iOS and Android.
Super Monsters Ate My Condo (Free)
Didn't get enough of Monsters Ate My Condo? Then you're in luck because Super Monsters Ate My Condo brings back Adult Swim's hungry monsters for a second helping. Super Monsters Ate My Condo offers more frantic gameplay than ever as you try to score as many points as possible in two minutes. Make combos with the new condos like the bank and the clock, while avoiding the unpleasant ones that spawn nuclear weapons and acid. And don't forget to spin the wheel for good luck and grab all the power-ups to multiply your score. Developed by PikPok, Super Monsters Ate My Condo is available on iOS and Android.
