Netflix announced on October 19, 2026, that it will stream La Velada del Año live and exclusively for the 2027, 2028, and 2029 editions. The deal moves the creator boxing and entertainment event, created by Ibai Llanos, to Netflix for those three live editions.

Before the deal, Twitch was the event’s main streaming platform. The 2026 edition also expanded distribution to YouTube and TikTok.

El Imparcial reported on October 20 that viewers would need an active Netflix subscription to watch. The report attributes that access expectation to the platform move.

Netflix’s audience figures

Netflix reports that La Velada del Año averaged about 1 million viewers in 2021 and more than 6 million in 2026. The company also says the 2025 edition reached a peak of 9.3 million concurrent viewers. The peak counts people watching at the same time; the other figures are averages.
